In truth, from my research for my book, Divine Complement what became clear is sometimes one partner is further along on the spiritual path and it is their duty to help their soulmate open their hearts to God's love. Not all soulmates are on the same page spiritually, but they can still learn and grow to understand more about God's love through their intimate bonds.
